Why Boys Don't do Laundry!!

Today I asked Wyatt to take the clothes out of the dryer for me--my mistake. Apparently an open dryer door screams to little boys "Why don't you put your brother in here!!!" Well Wyatt decided to listen to that and I am in the kitchen when I hear Rees crying. It's kind of muffled so I was a little worried that Wyatt had put something over his head. I came into the front room and saw Rees's feet kicking out of the dryer and his head inside it. Wyatt tried at first to deny that he did it but then changed his story to say that Rees wanted to get in. Then he went on to say "I wasn't going to shut him in" apparently it should have been O.K since he only wanted to set him in there but not shut him in. I was torn between being furious at him and laughing at the same time, so I hurried and sent him to timeout before he could see me laugh. BOYS!!! I really hope he makes it to age 6.

HALLOWEEN!!!

We went trick-or-treating around our neighborhood this year. My sisters came over and went with us. Then Ang and I took the kids to a few houses that were a little scary, like a man dressed in a Gorilla suit chasing the kids with a chain saw and a garage with strobe lights, mist and men coming at us dressed in black. I think I may have scarred my kids for life but I thought it was fun.
Avery and Rees loved our neighbors dog. The dog kept licking them on the face.

Brooklyn's Birthday Party

This year for Brooklyn's birthday we went to AirTime Gymnastics. AirTime had coaches that took the kids to different stations where they were able to play on the tramp, do an obstacle course, and other fun games. It was a lot of fun and all I had to do was watch (Except for the presents and cake and ice cream). The pictures didn't turn out great because I am in need of a new camera but here are a few.

I had to put this one in because he is just so cute.

Fun Stuff

Every year we go to the Rodeo on the 24th with Kelly's family. It is a fun tradition that the kids look forward to every year.
Salem Days Parade
After the parade I took the girls shopping to Park City for school clothes. That was a busy day.

This year we were able to go to Loa for the Rees Reunion. We had a lot of fun hanging out with my family, eating a lot of good food, going to the parade, and we also went to the demolition derby. Here are a few pictures from the parade.

After the parade we went to the park where they had some fun activities going on. One thing they all did was climb the rock wall. Brooklyn loved it she went to the top twice and wanted to keep going. Savannah and Wyatt each made it up about half way before they decided they were done.

***REES***

Elisha recently had her kids pictures taken and she referred me to Halie to have Rees's one year pictures taken. I was thinking about going to Kiddie Kandids but didn't want to spend that much.
Rees did not want to cooperate. He started crying every time I tried to set him down. I was really nervous about how they would turn out but I thought they looked great and was very impressed.

This one made me laugh. He totally reminds me of Wyatt in this picture.
If you would like to see all of the pictures she took click on the following picture.

Where has the Summer gone????

So I'm not even going to try and post everything that has happened since my last post so I'll summarize. This summer has consisted of work, swimming, swim lessons, going to the cabin, some boating (not enough), the rodeo, and much more. My baby turned 1. I am still in denial because I keep hoping he won't grow up. Here are a couple pictures from his birthday. He wasn't too sure about all the attention at first and kept crying but eventually he dove in and demolished his Cake. He is also walking all over the place now. I can't believe how big he is getting.

In July I went to Park City for a girls weekend and had a blast. It was so nice to have a break where I only had to worry about myself. We went shopping, ate a lot of good food and stayed up too late. I was worn out by the time I got home but it was well worth it. Since I don't have a great camera right now I stole these pictures from Jamie's blog. She also has a ton more pictures on her blog so check it out. I am so grateful for a great family and in-laws. I really enjoy spending time with all of them.

I registered my kids for school today and can't believe it is almost time to start again. Wyatt is starting Kindergarten, Brooklyn will be in first grade, and Savannah will be in third. Wow I feel old.

CRAZY MAY

So this month has been crazy. I will try and catch up with some of the stuff that we have done. Let's start with the first weekend. Friday May 1st we went to Janice's graduation she received her associates from UVU. Then that night we had cake and ice cream for Savannah's birthday. Saturday morning was Jessica's graduation from Snow college (we couldn't make it because of Savannah's baptism) but I heard it was great. Then the big event for the month was Savannah's baptism. We had so many friends and family there it turned out great. We are so proud of her decision to be baptized. She is such a great kid and we are so lucky to be her parents.

Here are the kids getting ready.Savannah & Aunt KayeSavannah's School teacher came to her baptism. We found out that her husband is my second cousin. Small World.

***SPRING BREAK****

Over spring break we went to St. George to hang out with Jamie & Chris. We had a ton of fun and can't wait to go back. While we were there Jamie took some pictures of Savannah for her baptism. They turned out so cute. Here are a few.We also decided to try and take some pictures of Skyla & Rees. They weren't in the mood for pictures but we got a couple that were cute. One of the main reasons we went down was so that we could go hiking in Zions. The kids were a little tired by the end of the hike but it was fun.
