December

The kids have had a ton of fun this winter sledding with all the snow we have. When we took Rees the first time I wasn't quite sure how he would do because he tends to get nervous easily. Well, that didn't last long. We're sitting there watching the kids sled and all of the sudden Rees takes off running and superman's it onto the sled. He kept doing this over and over. He'd run and jump on the sled and fly down the hill. There was one time when he even hit a bump at the bottom of the hill and stuck like glue to his sled. He is so entertaining to watch.
Making a snowman in the back yard.
Wyatt & Rees watching the cookies cook. Pretty entertaining!!
Visiting Santa!! Rees wasn't a fan

November

So much as happened since my last post that I'm not even sure where to start. Here is a summary of a few things that happened in November.
Nov. 6, 2010 Brooklyn was Baptized and confirmed by her dad. It was truly a special day in many ways. Our new Stake Center was finished that day so Brooklyn got to be one of the first to be baptized there, her good friend Aubrey was baptized on the same day, she was able to be baptized on her Grandpa Jeff's birthday, and we had so many of our family and friends come it was truly a day to remember.
Nov. 14th, 2010 Wyatt finally lost his first Tooth.
Thanksgiving 2010 with the Nielsen Family. I just have to say that I love Thanksgiving. It's a day you get to eat all kinds of Yummy foods and you can spend time with your family. What more could you ask for. This year did not disappoint. The food was fantastic and we had so much fun hanging out with Kelly's family.
After dinner we all played a little rock band together.

CABIN

Oh how we love going to the cabin!
Here are just a few pictures we took when we ran up to the cabin one weekend.

Rees Family

September was a pretty exciting month for my family. My parents returned from their mission on September 2nd. We were all so excited to have them home. Then the week after they returned we were able to go to the temple to see Michelle & Chauncy and kids sealed together as a family. Both events were amazing.

LAKE POWELL

Lake Powell this year was a little different than normal. The weather was crazy. I have never had as many storms as we had this time. Usually we are dying of heat but this year we actually were quite cold a good part of the time. Despite the craziness we were still able to have fun.

Rees loved playing in the sand and riding the Waverunner. He was so dang cute. We had so much fun just watching him.
Brooklyn trying to Wakeboard. She didn't quite make it but I'm sure she'll be ready next year.
Savannah knee boarding.
We are kind of mean parents and will sometimes force our kids to try stuff even though they are scared. Wyatt and Savannah both had to be gently pushed to get out on the knee board but once they did they were awesome. Wyatt did get up on his knees but we only got video of it not any pictures.
This was one of many waterfalls we saw after being caught in a major storm. We were soaked and freezing but it was a beautiful site.
Kelly falling off the tube. I just had to throw this one it because it makes me laugh.
Brooklyn didn't need much persuasion to knee board. She loves it. At the beginning of the week she only wanted to lay on her tummy and ride but we convinced her to get on her knees. Then after watching Austin do a 360 she just decided to try it without even telling us.

Jake, Megan & Kaylee came down for the first part of the week. We were so glad they came.
One day when we were returning from a tubing trip we put Rees in with Wyatt & Austin for an easy ride. After a few minutes we look out and Rees is asleep in the tube. He also slept through one of the major storms we were caught in.
